A Bit About Me 

I’m Michael Calderaro‑Tracey, a personal trainer based in Croydon with over 20 years’ experience in sport, health, and fitness. I’m currently re‑certifying as a Level 3 Personal Trainer, building on a career that includes working as a former UKSCA Strength & Conditioning Coach and graduating with a BSc in Sports Science.

I specialise in body transformations, corrective exercise, and injury recovery, using principles of kinesiology, bioenergetics, and integrated fitness training to address movement dysfunction, reduce pain, and restore confident, efficient movement. My work supports clients returning from injury, chronic pain, or long periods of inactivity by rebuilding strength from the inside out.

Recognised as a Final Four UK FitPro Fitness Professional of the Year, I bring depth, precision, and care to every session. My philosophy is simple: fitness should feel personal, purposeful, and empowering. 🏋️ From Sports Science to Sanctuary‑Led Coaching

My journey began with a BSc in Sports Science at the University of Abertay Dundee, where I studied biomechanics, nutrition, psychology, and strength & conditioning. That academic foundation shaped my belief that fitness is more than just exercise — it’s about resilience, identity, and belonging.

I’ve coached across the UK and the US in more than 25 sports, from football and rugby to lacrosse and basketball. Later, I co‑founded JAM Fitness, a studio built on community‑driven training and nutrition. What set us apart was focusing on what big gyms often miss: personal connection, group energy, and sustainable results.
